Phoenix, Az - This past weekend Phoenix was home to the Section 7 Basketball Team Camp. High schools teams from Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Hawaii & Utah had the opportunity to play in front of Division I college coaches.
One player who took advantage of the opportunity was Torrey Pines SF Brandon Angel. Over the course of four games, Angel displayed his offensive versatility, along with his ability to defend multiple positions. His performance led to him picking up offers from Cal, Washington State, Dartmouth, Rice, Pepperdine, Northeastern, UC Davis, UC Riverside and UC Santa Barbara.

Christian's Kobe Sanders was another player who saw his stock rise over the weekend. The 6'6 guard/wing picked up an offer from Cal Poly SLO and is now receiving interest from Cornell, Army, Columbia & UC Riverside. Christian also got great performances from Patrick Roberts, Jake Tawhiao, Vincent Warren and Vinny Signorelli en route to finishing (4-0) and taking home the title in the "Orange 26" Bracket.

San Marcos finished (3-1) and took home 3rd place in the "Tom Kimball" Bracket after knocking off Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (82-68). Devon Arlington continued his solid play for the Knights, picking up an offer from Cal State Bakersfield. The Knights also received solid inside play from F Christian Littlejohn.

Rancho Christian's Bryson Stephens is receiving interest from UC Riverside & Boston University after a solid showing in Arizona.

Mater Dei Catholic's Melo Sanchez was solid all weekend. The 6'4 G had a huge performance vs Arbor View from Nevada finishing with 28 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds & 4 steals.

2022 G Jaden Lebel was a key contributor for Foothills Christian and their runner-up finish in their respective bracket. Lebel showcased his ability to score from the perimeter and make plays at the basket.

Santa Fe Christian took home the consolation championship in the "Cherrish" Bracket after dropping a buzzer beater Friday night to Paradise Honors. The 2021 trio of Keatten Smith, Hayden Gray & Trevan Martin led the way for the Eagles. 2022 G Vincent Berlucchi also chipped in with solid contributions off the bench. Dartmouth, Columbia, Santa Clara, UCSD & Boston University were on the sideline for a majority of the weekend observing SFC.

Cathedral Catholic's Dillon Wilhite helped the Dons to a (3-1) finish in the "ServRX" Bracket.
