This past spring & summer the Gamepoint 15u Elite team solidified itself as one of the top 2021 teams on the West Coast. This group finished in July with a (33-6) record, losing in the semifinals to Indiana Elite in Las Vegas.  One of the main reasons for the amount of success this group has had is the depth of the roster.
Recently Cal-HI Sports posted their Top 65 in the State of California for the Class of 2021. Three members of our 2021 class made the list,  #37 6'2 G AJ Burgin (San Diego), #55 6'8 F Dillon Wilhite (Cathedral Catholic) & #60 6'4 G Melo Sanchez (Mater Dei-SD).

Burgin is coming off a freshman season where he helped lead the Cavers to a San Diego Section Division IV championship. Up and coming 6'8 forward Dillon Wilhite will be a part of a talented Dons team looking to improve on last season's success. Melo Sanchez will step into a bigger role for the Crusaders this season with the departure of a couple key players.

"Our 2021 Class is very talented. In my opinion we have some other guys in that class who could have very well made this list in addition to AJ, Dillon & Melo" says Gamepoint Basketball Director Charlie Mercado.

"Keavie Love (El Camino), Hayden Gray (SFC), Trevan Martin (SFC) & Keatten Smith (SFC) are all guys that will make huge impacts this season on the varsity level."
